Post updates

In Hugo users can create a new blog post easily. By opening the terminal on the project root directory and writing some simple command.

For creating a new blog post:

β€˜β€™β€™ hugo new blog/new-blog-post.md β€˜β€™β€™

For creating a new new project:

β€˜β€™β€™ hugo new project/new-project.md β€˜β€™β€™

On our theme the blog post can be found at β€˜β€™β€™ project-root > content > blog β€˜β€™β€™ From there you can update users’ blog posts. On this part, you can change information about a blog post.

  • title is for the blog post title.
  • date is used for the blog post date. Our blog post is sorted by this date.
  • tags is the category for the blog post. You can post several tags in it. It will help you to show the recommendation on a single blog post and the taxonomy page.
  • banner is for the image which is shown on the banner of that blog post on the list page.
  • featureImage is the image which is used on a blog single page. For showing the big image.
  • feature this value takes β€˜true’ or β€˜false’ to indicate whether this is a feature post or not.
  • The content on the blog post uses the markdown format. You can markdown from Β https://www.markdownguide.org/basic-syntax/ .

You can also update your project information from β€˜β€™β€™ project-root > content > project β€˜β€™β€™. Here you can also update:

  • title is for the post title.
  • taskShort is the short message of this task.
  • taskFull is the full task name.
  • time is used for showing the time for the project.
  • banner is for the image which is shown on the banner of that post on the list page.
  • featureImage is the image which is used on a project single page. For showing the big image.
  • buttonName will indicate the post button name for the list page.
  • projectLink is an external link to show people about this project.
  • clientName is for showing the name of the project client name.
  • linkName is the name for the projectLink tag.
  • allDesignP is the paragraph before showing all the designs of this project.
  • allDesignImg is for showing all the designs used in this project.
  • weight is for sorting data according to your need; where a smaller value means higher priority.
  • feature this value takes β€˜true’ or β€˜false’ to indicate whether this is a feature post or not.
